One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Erky wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Bounty Hunter in town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Brewer again; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Morgran was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Traubon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Gifted from a young age, Traubon studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Sculptor. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sculptor for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sculptor responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burto fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: He was born in the north. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
