History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. History: She was born into a rich family. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
