History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Heskan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Marshal soon after.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Georgina hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Ella was born with her father's beautiful face. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Ella and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
