His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arnold is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered orcs who tried to eat her hand. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Roofer, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to open a new tavern
