Personality: Aust wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aust studied abroad. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Carter father left her crippled. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Hlin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hlin. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spy. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
