Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Egelina isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Egelina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Egelina. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Shifting enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
