History: He was born in the east. After coming to the age of reason, Patrick took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 5'2". He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with yellow lining and desert motifs, and his gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has violet eyes and a yellow hat with a black feather.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the south to a Farmer, Trym learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a very tight haircut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a glaive, but if one is not available she will default to her spear. She has moderate length gray fur. Her copper eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He wears a pastel vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his pastel boots flare out at the collars, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His fur is cut close to his head. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Edge fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He became a Brewer soon after.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Dean was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dean's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality
