Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Balimaar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
