History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: Rael was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region.
