History: Herleva hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Performer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Mormo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: Caeldrim hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the east to a Bellfounder, Caeldrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bellfounder for the past few years.
