History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cairn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born in the north. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
