Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Apothecary, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
