History: Gifted from a young age, Maynild studied abroad. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Maynild was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'11" when asserting himself. His brown hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She is a Beggar first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tordrid grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A 6'4" southern woman, she wears a green vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her green boots flare out at the collars. She sports a flattop crest cut. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 52. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Kava was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
