History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Aline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born in the west to a Bather, Traki learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Guard, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Bather soon after.
