Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown fur is knotted and matted. His yellow eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Five was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: Standing 4'7", this woman wears white painted combat armor at almost all times. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Ovak hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Ulblyn was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Nuraval enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now owns his own business.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a robe, a symbol of strength around her neck, and a longbow on her belt. She has a long golden ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. Alvyn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and expand his business

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born into a rich family. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson yellow hat.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ermina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
