History: Dentratha was born with her father's beautiful face. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears suspenders and red workpants. Her shirt is green, and she wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by her family

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She got into the Painter business at a young age. Her childhood dream was to be a Spy, but she was a colossal failure. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. His black crest is knotted and matted. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
