Mercenary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her childhood dream was to be a Blacksmith, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shaena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Shaena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Foxilon was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Kathra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
