History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her blonde hair is cut short. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Mardnab was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Guard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a black cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her white hair is well kept. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ekk grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her black eyes.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Description: This malnourished man is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His crest is gold and very short. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Kriv was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kriv decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's in love; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his glaive, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his small black hat.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Snafû is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
