History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, River learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. He's also a talented Herbalist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. He has styled his yellow fur well, parting it to the left. His yellow eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born into a rich family. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She bought a shield and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Cloud was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Willow never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
