History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Her white eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Akta alone in the world. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
