His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
