History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Mayor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Nala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Eiravel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Eiravel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Kûga was a troubled youth. Kûga decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Gorgûm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gorgûm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. A gifted student she started as a Blacksmith, but she got bored and became a Merchant. Recently the stress of being a Merchant has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Interpreter. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
