History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Adventurer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Valanthe was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Valanthe's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Valanthe and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Balam was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Skamos grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Skamos. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. A true patriot, Cloak would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
