He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
