She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dara does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Dara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Murook was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Bathin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Armorer. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Philomena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Sun hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
