History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

History: Baern lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has achieved small success as a Painter.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Ekk was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Farmer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Yurk was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
