History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Verna's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors.
