He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Barkeep kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
