Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Now she works as a painting tutor during her time off.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. He has no hair. His eyes are red and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a hammer on her belt. Her golden hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Ilanis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ilanis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears just a white suit. Her hair is cut close to her head. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Baker for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: Standing 5'11", this man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Rolf was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
