Description: This northern man dresses like a well dressed Courier does. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long yellow fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His yellow eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Her brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in the east to a Miner, Donella learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: He tends to wear a large black jacket. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Akoth was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Akoth's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. During his travels, Akoth and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Akoth discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Akoth fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She was born in a small forest village. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Orianna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bellfounder, and she later adopted a second son.
