When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She tends to her Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
