Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Mary liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Surina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Surina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dalgal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When Quelenna reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
