History: She comes from a rich eastern family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Mayor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Darrow embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Ootah is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Ootah was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.
