History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Hecat is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Hecat hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Hecat took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. She became a Bookbinder soon after.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Oriff alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Oriff was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Salasar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Salasar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
