Description: A middle-aged man, he wears pastel leather gloves, a pastel jacket, and tight pants, and is pretty ugly. His brown fur is singed and shortened. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Serpent embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Serpent was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her golden hair is still thick. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Mugrunden lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Alice hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Raer is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
