Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ortegar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ortegar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ortegar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Aura was born with her mother's beautiful face. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Gifted from a young age, Elama studied abroad. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
