Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of a Ploughman, who enjoyed hunting, Paggen was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears tattered old clothes, marred by teas. Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Baelitae is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Baelitae and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Zûgor was born the youngest of three triplets. One day when Zûgor was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Zûgor was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Personality: Enialis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is a great chef.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and further expansion of business
