History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. She's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Maynild alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

History: Aelar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barkeep for the past few years.
