History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
