His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Matilda embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Merla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
