History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
