History: Jillian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Gardain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
