Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ahvain's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to protect his home

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When Sun reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Tree was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Purson was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a longsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Gillyd was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gillyd decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids
