History: Gifted from a young age, Griselda studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Griselda took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), marred by sweets. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Ortegar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. One day when Ortegar was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Ortegar was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
