Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he tends to wear a large grey jacket. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Rurik liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to work out more often

Description: This man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is short and black. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 2 years.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: Mardred was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: This malnourished man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his longsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Traki alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Imsh hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Bellfounder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
