History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Jak was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.
