History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Umpen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bellfounder for hire.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his hand crossbow. His gold crest is matted, messy, and big. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She has worked as a Gardener like her mother before her.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and is pretty ugly. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length black crest. Her eyes are red and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Havilar was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
