History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lone was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hatae studied abroad. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bather, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Wobbles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
