Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Nija's homeland. Nija decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her silver hair is greasy and uncared for. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tawar is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
