His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered tan hat.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 36. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Paelias was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bricklayer. After a long history of fighting, Paelias and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Randal grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and revenge

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and her religion dominates her actions
